L I M B

Limb’s stated intention is to play “fucking heavy”. They share the loose, groove-based approach of bands like Weedeater, Goatsnake, Kyuss, and a pinch of early Nirvana. Limb tune it down, and turn it up. However, beneath the layers of overdriven amps, crashing cymbals and raw-throated vocals, you’ll find memorable hooks, infectious rhythms and an undercurrent of barely restrained melody.
Their self-recorded and self-released demo soon attracted the attention of the underground doom and hardcore label Witch Hunter Records, who re-released it in October with a new (but still satisfyingly nasty) mix and new artwork. NHS are proud to initiate them into our heavy family.
Based in London, the band is composed of Jodie Wyatt (drums), Pat Pask (guitar), Rob Hoey (vocals) and Sam Cooper (bass), and has shared stages with the likes of Conan, Witchsorrow, Gurt, and their labelmates Black Moth and Throne.
