VŌDŪN are a heavy, weird & soulful, afro-futuristic tribe from London - A raw and powerful slice of voodoo fuelled turbo-metal riffage not to be missed. After their debut album 'POSSESSION', highly acclaimed by the likes of Classic Rock, Mojo, Kerrang, Metal Hammer and The Guardian News Paper, VŌDŪN are excited to release their hugely anticipated follow up album 'ASCEND' on 7th September of 2018.

They rock like no one else, and their mesmerising live shows have seen them stun & entertain audiences on tours and at festivals across the UK & Europe, including Hell Fest, ArcTangent, Blood Stock Festival, Desertfest and Afropunk.

Since the release of their first album 'POSSESSION', VŌDŪN have been sought after both as a band for their raw and powerful live performances, and for their power-house vocalist, Chantal Brown. They have supported Orange Goblin at Koko, in London, and have also both toured with and loaned vocals to albums for Uncle Acid and Turbowolf.

The music of ASCEND their second album, is more sophisticated than on Possession, the canvas broader, the details more vivid and varied. Their palette now embraces a healthy does of extra percussion, saxophone, and vocal arrangements that pair Chantal’s behemoth holler with harmonies, chants and howls, a full-spectrum of sound that suits their polymorphous attack. The solidity that Linz brings to the table lends newfound emphasis to Vodun’s sophomore volley of inspirational fierceness, a suite that takes a sober look at the mess the world’s in today and offers some much needed perspective.
