Heavy doom metal 4 piece from Birmingham, Alabama, Embr are one of those doom bands that are definitely going beyond genre stereotypes and doom tropes.
They have all requisite nuts and bolts in spades, massive drop-tuned guitars, chest rattling low end, pounding drums, fuzzy distortion, it’s all there. But these guys can also be subtle and introspective, even when things get exceptionally heavy.
Add to that the awesome vocal talents of Crystal adding a touch of soul and melancholia to their sound, and you have a unique proposition indeed.
