BLACK MOTH - The Killing Jar

The Black Moth debut album, released on May 7th and titled ‘The Killing Jar’, it’s 10 tracks of crushing riffage, sonic mayhem, blinding vocals and corking songs to boot, all produced to perfection by Grinderman and Bad Seed, Mr Jim Sclavunos.
As with all New Heavy Sounds releases, such sonic assault can only be housed in something very special. So the first 500 vinyl copies of this baby come in a deluxe package. ‘The Killing Jar’ sports a full colour gatefold sleeve, with awesome cover art by Vania Zouravliov, one of the best and most distinctively talented illustrators around. His beautifully intricate style, infused with hints of decay and corruption, superbly complements and captures the mood of the music. Decadent, detailed and vaguely frightening, just check out the cover shot here.
Not only that, but it’s pressed on 180g heavyweight (natch) transparent white vinyl, with a lyric sheet and a free download of the whole album.....collectors item or what?!
There’s only a handful of copies left so we suggest you hot-foot it down to your nearest record emporium and buy one now before it’s too late........
